60's dolly knitting pattern, originally uploaded by pacific_rin.

This is the pattern used to make Anouk's skirt. I might knit the other pieces too, I love these sets.

woolly anouk

woolly anouk, originally uploaded by pacific_rin.

I've made Anouk a skirt based on an old pattern from the sixties. I wanted it to look oversized for her. She finds and steals her clothes (I don't ask) and she found this was made for a girl a bit bigger than her but she wanted it anyway.

I wanted it to look "vintage" so I wasn't bothered about scale or thickness of yarn. Just used 4-ply on size 10 needles for quickness. I added the braces.

Vintage dress

Cherry Soda - I hope you don't mind me posting your photos here.

This picture is gorgeous, the doll, the pose, the hat, the flowers, colours and the dress.

I like those big buttons!

Ragamuffins

I adore the knitwear on these Roche dolls. They look like real little girl jumpers and cardigans. Worn to keep out the cold.

Red Riding Hood

I bought this pattern on ebay a few weeks ago - I'd like to make the smaller size for Scottie. I just adore red capes and coats and hoods for dolls.

Also from ebay. Again for the red pixie hood and coat and I love the horses.

Three outfits for Teddy...

Three outfits for Teddy

A knitting pattern from my childhood - for a size 12" teddy bear.

I was a child when I knitted the dungarees and the duffel coat but bizarrely they came out half size! Luckily I had a little 6" bear that could wear them. I found him the other day in the loft still wearing his clothes!! ^_^
