New dress

Just finished making a Blythe dress from some left over bits of Noro Sekku, hence the stripes.
Ah, I need to sew it up though! LOL!

Fanny's hat!

This knitting and crochet pattern booklet for Blythe came free with Dolly Dolly #27

Knitting patterns.

I spent one afternoon this week researching how to read a Japanese knitting pattern and it worked as I made this hat! My head was spinning though so I needed to make something while it was still fresh in my head!!!
I used thicker wool than suggested though - I had this lovely Colinette mohair I'd been dying to knit.

Hat!

So, this hat was supposed to be for Blythe but it looked too chunky for them. Though it is still oversized for Fanny I think it works for her. It's just her kind of thing.

A treat!

I've admired these Megipupu hand knitted jackets for Blythe for ages and I finally treated myself.
The jacket arrived this morning (all the way from Finland), so exciting!
The knitting is beautiful and the mix of colours is gorgeous. It's a real treat for me to buy hand knitted items. I'm going to try it on Bodee first.

It's Christmaaaaaaasssss!

Jaycee and Bodee hope that everyone is having a lovely time.

I love Bodee's new Deer hat from Maidensuit.

Ugli-knits revisited

I came across these pictures of Karen's "Ugli-knits" hats for Blythe. I loved the way she photographed her dolls and I love her hats. I still have a lot and I'm glad I kept them as I will be using them a lot nerxt year.

Such brilliant colour combinations.

Blythe sweaters

Blythes three

I had fun dressing my Blythes yesterday - they are all wearing simple top-down raglans knitted by me. I'd like to treat them to more clothes...
The brown/turquoise one that Jaycee is wearing is made from the leftovers of Noro Sekku shade #2.

WIP: challenge sweater week 4

No change this week, I haven't been able to concentrate.

WIP: Challenge sweater - week 4

But I did feel like doing plain knitting so I made 6 sixth scale/Blythe size sweaters, using left over sock yarn!! :)
Polly is wearing one and the sixth is still on the needles.

Blythe knitting

I made another jumper for Robynn a couple of days ago. Used some left over sock yarn - Lorna's Laces in Baltic Sea. Very pretty colours and it goes so well with her corduroy skirt and woolly tights.

I also added buttons to the pink hoody. I found an envelope that had spare buttons from Per Una. The hoody is too small though, next time I will use the recommended needle size!

I enjoy knitting these little Blythe sweaters.

New Blythe hoody

I made another Blythe hoody from left over sock yarn. I must admit I didn't enjoy knitting it, maybe the yarn was too thick, especially after just knitting with the thinner Noro. I haven't even taken a decent picture!!!
