Stripes and cables

Jemini and Trance

These two jumpers are my most favourite doll jumpers that I've ever knitted. (DWD pattern). I was inspired by a Patricia Roberts sweater that combined stripes and cables and so adapted the pattern.

Happy New Year!

Trance wearing the the starfish wishes everyone a Happy New Year.

First picture 2013 - Trance

I do like this cardigan! It also suits Balalaika.

Orangey goodness

I made another one last summer for Jo.

And here it is on her doll. Thank you Jo!

Fanny's hat!

This knitting and crochet pattern booklet for Blythe came free with Dolly Dolly #27

Knitting patterns.

I spent one afternoon this week researching how to read a Japanese knitting pattern and it worked as I made this hat! My head was spinning though so I needed to make something while it was still fresh in my head!!!
I used thicker wool than suggested though - I had this lovely Colinette mohair I'd been dying to knit.

Hat!

So, this hat was supposed to be for Blythe but it looked too chunky for them. Though it is still oversized for Fanny I think it works for her. It's just her kind of thing.

Cable Hoody!

Knitted this hoody from a Dollswest pattern (#155). Though I used the same size needles and yarn weight it looks rather large for an msd, especially that hood!
A friend wondered if it will fit her doll so we have done a trade.

Edit: It fits my friend's doll perfectly and suits her so well!

Cables, cables....

Purple Passion Pullover #170. Might get this pattern later. I like the roll-neck. And I think this looks like a real jumper!
And here is a picture of the cardigan it was inspired by.

Pretty for Spring

A pretty short sleeved jumper by Dollswest, inspired by a knit from Vogue. I really want to knit this.

Cable coat

I was given this coat by a friend, don't know who knitted it. It's a lovely shape but it is very stiff....I'm wondering about adding beads to it or something. Make it a bit more special.

Cable cardigan

Christiane posted a picture of her doll wearing one of the cable cardigans. Pretty doll and I'm pleased that the cardi fits.

Tuula and green cables!

I love this green cable sweater on a Petite. It's too big for them, long sleeves, but it looks as if she will grow into them!

Scottie is wearing a cashmere blend jumper that I made last year.

Best friends.

Over-exposed photos! Bright sun!

Cable cardigan 2

I took these photos yesterday of Sabrina modelling the Stone colourway. I really like this one and think I have just enough yarn to make another one.

Plus that lovely yarn wig!

Cable cardigans

Just finished two cable cardigans for an order. They are going to Germany. Both are made from Rowanspun 4-ply, colours: Stone and Sugar.

I really hope they fit Christiane's dolls!

Just because!

The last day of January - at last. This has been a very long month!
Phoebe is snuggly in her cable sweater. This was knitted by Nadine from a Daniel Bingham pattern. I love the little pockets

Must. Knit. These.

More Scotty Maloney kits, bought years ago for 18" Kitty Collier doll. It would be good to finally make them. Maybe I can adapt them.

Cream cable sweater

I used to have this Tonner Aran sweater and wish I still did (but I could knit one!) So I am posting these pictures to remind me. I like this picture of a Narae wearing it plus here are some older pictures of mine - the jumper looks good on both Kitty Collier and Tyler.

Sabrina in pink

Sabrina finally gets to wear the cardi I made for her. And doesn't she look good? It's a perfect fit.
Rowanspun 4-ply, Sugar and a Dollswest pattern. I added 16 rows extra to the sleeves as I'm not too keen on three-quarter length. I also did the cable up to the decreases on the fronts.
