Socks - my own pattern, Rowan Kid Silk Haze
Doll - my friend's

"Susan," said Mrs. Miniver, "where did that knitting come from? I swear you didn't have any on you a minute ago. I believe you materialise bits of knitting out of thin air, the way conjurers do with lighted cigarettes." "No," said Susan, "they grow out of my finger-tips, like a thread out of a spider." I love this sweater on Ginny. It was handknitted by my friend Jane's Mum.
It's so beautiful and a lovely rich wine colour.
I'm knitting another dress - on smaller needles and thinner wool so I hope it will still fit ! The wool is Rowan Donegal Lambswool Tweed in Lime.
I've made Anouk a skirt based on an old pattern from the sixties. I wanted it to look oversized for her. She finds and steals her clothes (I don't ask) and she found this was made for a girl a bit bigger than her but she wanted it anyway.
Based on "Reveal" sweater in Rowan Magazine #34, hand knitted by me.
