I have had a love of brown knitwear ever since I was at school. I was always sorry that our school uniform wasn't brown, though perhaps if it was then I wouldn't be so passionate about the colour now!
I remember a friend had a lovely nut-brown cable cardigan, I was so envious.
And so when I come across pictures of brown jumpers and cardigans, I stop and stare and adore.
I came across this little set today - made by megipupu. It is delightful and I also like the browns and blues in the patchwork background.
This is also fab with the cables and I like the dark brown with the flowers and the deep rust hair.

scottie's new sweater
I was so pleased at finishing the Twins' jumpers that I made another one for Scottie. This one only took me 2 days! It's slightly shorter and is just Scottie's colour.

Miniature version of "Reveal"
Based on "Reveal" sweater in Rowan Magazine #34, hand knitted by me.
I used Rowan LWDT in Oatmeal on size 2mm needles. I wanted it to look chunky. The cables aren't quite what I wanted, not enough twists and tooooo chunky. I need to revise that bit but overall I'm pleased with how the sweater looks on Rime.
