Striped dress

I wanted Karrosel to have a dress to match her stripey socks. Though I finished knitting it a while ago, I've not long made it up and sewn on the poppers.



I think she looks quite the cutie!

I made Coco Rosy a dress from Noro Sekku (shade #3). The green is so pretty.

Teenie Gem dresses - finished - nearly!

In the end, I managed to make 9 little dresses from one ball of Noro Sekku, shade #8. Okay, the ninth one is a half dress!

Now to make them all up!

Teenie Gem dresses

Dress #1 greeny, yellow, white on Gayle.
Dress #2 red, brown, yellow - can just see it on Shasta peeking behind Evelyn's legs!
Dress #3 turquoise and royal blues on Mer-Rin.

Green dress

The green dress that I made for Ginny thankfully fits Cochineal. I added her black corset/belt, think it works well.

Another dress

More Noro Sekku yarn and I'm going to see how many dresses I can make out of one ball.
The greeny yellow one on the right is the first one.

Sparkle

I started knitting this dress when I was doing Twinkle's dresses - the idea was that it was going to be her party dress. But the lurex yarn was slow going to knit with plus I had to do it on bigger needles. I picked it up again this week to finish and made the sleeves a bit wider to fit over a Petite's hands.

And here it is on Maple - and perfect for her too!

Plain Grey

I missed knitting the dresses so made one each for Mistletoe and Wisteria. I chose two shades of grey to go with their grey, white and mauve colouring.





I might add some beading or trims to make them a bit more special.

Rainbow Drops!

The final dress in my challenge. This one was knitted from the bottom up so that the "drops" formed the heart shapes, plus I needed to work out the positioning and it was easier to work from the bottom to the top.
I based this on an old knitwear design of mine when it was my living.








I am very proud of these little knitted dresses.




Oh dear, Twinkle took a tumble not long after the last photo shoot. She is fine, nothing damaged.

Hippy Chick!

I had a blue and orange smock dress in the mid 70's and still like this colour combination.






I'm really enjoying knitting these little dresses and having fun choosing colour combinations.

Cappucino time - dress #5

Stripes! This was fun to do and a homage to Sindy's Coffee Party dress. I love brown knits!
