Intricate and Icelandic

I love this pattern by Becky Colvin.

I love knitting but do procastinate over the finishing! But once I get started I really enjoy it.

Sewing up!

Trance is wearing "Lynx" and Gemini is wearing "Hare".

Intricate and Icelandic

My two Unoas have new sweaters.
I used a Becky Colvin pattern sized for Lark and Wren - "Intricate and Icelandic" - kept the same stitches, made length to fit unoa, added a fairisle border to the body and sleeves. Knit Pick Palette Peruvian wool.

Finished the fair-isle jumper.

Two Dollswest knits for Unoa

Trance is wearing "Durango" sweater and Jemini is wearing the "starfish" cardi - both patterns by Dollswest.

Trance and Jemini

Durano is knitted with the softest Malabrigo laceweight in Bobby Blue. Though the pattern is very effective I didn't enjoy knitting it and struggled with the changing knit and purl texture.

The cable cardigan that I call "starfish" is in Regia Hand Dye Effect sock yarn and Jamieson and Smith Shetland laceweight.

Stripes and cables

Jemini and Trance

These two jumpers are my most favourite doll jumpers that I've ever knitted. (DWD pattern). I was inspired by a Patricia Roberts sweater that combined stripes and cables and so adapted the pattern.

I do like this cardigan! It also suits Balalaika.

Orangey goodness

I made another one last summer for Jo.

And here it is on her doll. Thank you Jo!

Jemini's jumper.

Jemini
I bought this jumper from Gill a few weeks ago. I had to sew the poppers on though!!!
It's so soft and very Jemini.

New knits for unoas

Trance is wearing a ruffle edge tunic based on my SD sized cardi/belly flasher! I made it longer and added an edging to the bottom. I haven't decided about front fastening yet.

Jemini is wearing a hooded vest - (which I finished knitting in May and have only just made-up!). I think this will look great in the winter over a long sleeved t.shirt or Sally's bodysuits.
I based this on a Rowan pattern from yonks ago.

Relaxing

Jemini is wearing the little blue and brown bolero. The front opening is held together with a Scotty dog pin.

Progress from week 1

The hooded dress slowly coming together. I did rip quite a bit back, wasn't happy with the "flare".

Here is the yellow cotton crop cardigan made up and I see the sleeves are too long for Unoa.

Sweater for a Soom guy, I think, in Atlantic and Midnight Light Tweed.

Noro Sekku again, again!

Opal and Trance wearing my cropped Noro Sekku cardigans.
I used the same pattern for both but added a hood to one of them. I really like this style, it's so versatile.
But I think I would make the sleeves narrower, not so narrow as not to be able to fit over a t.shirt, but not so flared at the bottom.

Snow Pixie!

Trance is wearing a new hoody. It's the same style as the cardi I made for Opal but I added a hood. Knitted in Noro Sekku lace-weight yarn, shade #2.

Noro Sekku Shade #4

noro6200, originally uploaded by pacific_rin.
So, from the ball of Noro Sekku Lace Weight, I made this lot out of it.
A hat (mixed with Shetland wool) for Trance, a dress for Twinkle, a crop cardigan for Opal and a coat for Nessa.
