I've made another one! I really enjoy doing this pattern and love working fair-isle again.

Jamieson & Smith Shetland laceweight wool.
Colours - chocolate, heathery blue and peach whip!














I think this suits Dimity so well and she looks so lovely!

New jumper!

Finished the fair-isle jumper.
Based on a Dollswest free pattern #20.
I made the sleeves longer and changed the neckline.

WIP: Fairisle finished

Finished the knitting, now need to sew it up. I'm really quite proud of this!

Knit Picks Palette

My order from "Great British Yarns" arrived this morning! Fourteen balls of Knit Picks Palette. I had a very hard time choosing the colours, wanted to get just enough to take advantage of the free shipping!



cream, gosling, green tea, alfafa, tidepool, blue note, almond, fairytale, hollyberry, bittersweet, coriander, ice lily, comfrey, pumice.

I can't wait to start knitting with it!

WIP: Fairisle progress

Adding in sleeves, this is so exciting!

To get back into dolly knitting I started a fairisle yesterday. It is sized for a Marnie doll, (whatever size that is!). It's been very relaxing to do, I enjoy fairisle knitting very much.
This is the body (all in one back and fronts) and Brenda is helping to hold it down while I take the photo!
