Only 8 rows done this week. But at least one of the bobble repeats has been completed now.

I have now completed 20 rows out of 138 for the body.



And this is my table with various projects ongoing.


And finished projects waiting to be sewn up and pressed.

WIP: Challenge sweater week 1

This is going to be a very long time knitting. I started this yesterday and so far have only done the 4 rows garter stitch then the first 4 rows of the pattern on the body and it has taken me hours! Using 4/0 needles and a fine silk/wool in Cherry Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace.
Lots of bobbles and travelling cable stitches.

I will try and photograph this once a week to encourage me to keep going.

Yarn purchases

I've bought some yarn this week!!

First up is Fyberspates Scrumptious Laceweight in Cherry and Malabrigo Lace weight in pink/orange mix. (bought from "The Knitting Shop").



Then from Ebay I found Colourmart who sell packs of end cones. This is a cashsoft merino in various shades of greens and creams.




I liked it so much I bought another pack in mustards, rusts, browns.



And finally from "Woolstack", I bought some more Malabrigo, shade Bobby Blue and a ball of Zitron Filigran laceweight in Rose.

Clockwise - 2 msd size roll-neck jumpers, SD size "fit 'n' flare" jumper, striped dress for Karrosel, striped hoody (msd), short sleeve crop cardi (msd).

Just finished and sent to a friend this morning. I hope she likes it.

Dollswest Challenge Sweater

This has just gone up on the Dollswest site. The challenge is to knit it within a year from buying the pattern. Lots of bobbles and lace and on fine needles too. I will give this a go.

Pretty for Spring

A pretty short sleeved jumper by Dollswest, inspired by a knit from Vogue. I really want to knit this.
