Blythe sweaters

Blythes three

I had fun dressing my Blythes yesterday - they are all wearing simple top-down raglans knitted by me. I'd like to treat them to more clothes...
The brown/turquoise one that Jaycee is wearing is made from the leftovers of Noro Sekku shade #2.

Too much?

Needing to keep busy to take my mind off other things. But have I started too much?

Balalaika and Opal

Wearing knits made by me! Balalaika's is from a Dollswest free pattern #13 and Opal's hoody is my own pattern.

Balalaika and Opal

Balalaika

Balalaika looks so cosy in this sweater. The yarn was given to me by a friend. It's really soft and velvety.

Opal's hoody took a long time to knit - the yarn was so thin, loads left over! I really like how it's come out though and would like to buy more yarn from Elvincraft.

Treacle's new jumper

Treacle has a new jumper - Dollswest free pattern #8. Inspired by *Randomfish on Flickr, I decided to knit this for Treacle but what has happened? I did the small size, used 1.5mm needles and laceweight Shetland, but it's come out quite big!! Still, she does look cute in it.

Challenge sweater - FINISHED!

I am so excited and happy that I have finished the Challenge sweater. It took a very long time - the bobble rows on the main piece seemed to take forever! And knitting 3 tog and ptbl - all need concentration.
I am glad that I did the main piece first as I found the sleeves very easy going as I was used to the lace pattern by then.
I loved the yarn - Fyberspates Scrumptious Lace - a silk and wool blend.

Well, here it is on Sabrina, it was always going to be for her.

Week 18: Challenge - FINISHED

And you know, I might knit this again!

Some finished knits.

This mustard cardigan is for Sabrina. I love the vintagey style. Made from a Dollswest pattern based on a Stefanie Japel pattern!
This orange tunic is for Teddy.
These two cardigans are for Jane - washed and drying.
Trying one on Trance. I do like the fit and must make one for her - in Lime Cream.
Buttoned and ready for delivery.
A red-riding hood cape - maybe for Cochineal.

Elvincraft hoody

This yarn was a lot finer than I thought so this hoody came out quite small - it just about fits Opal. Lovely yarn to knit with though. I really like the striping effect.
