Another grey hoody!

This long cardigan with pockets and hood is so soft and another classic great shape and design.

Snuggly Purrl

It's very snuggly and warm too!

The cardigan is from a Tonner Tyler outfit - "Capital Investment".

Black and gingham.

There's something very pleasing and classic about black cabled or ribbed jumpers with gingham capris or skirts. This is an up-to date look with a long sweater over gingham cut-offs and black & white boots. Not forgetting the little black and white spotty dalmatian brooch.

These next two are 50's style. The second one is very Audrey Hepburn.

More Petite jumpers

I'm making a couple for sweaters for my tan twins.
One is black and white and one will be aqua and chocolate.

Maple's Sloppy Joe

Just finished knitting a Sloppy Joe for Maple. It's based on a Scotty Maloney v-neck jumper for 16" fashion dolls. (My favourite sweater from 60s Sindy was "Sloppy Joe").

It's knitted in Jamieson & Smith's Shetland lace-weight - cornflower blue.

The tie-belt cardigan

In 1981 Ralph Lauren launched his Santa Fe collection and I absolutely loved the Navajo inspired designs and these tie-belt cardigans with shawl collars. Worn with denim shirts and big skirts over frothy petticoats and turquoise & silver jewellery.

This is Tonner's version of the tie-belt cardigan, worn by Polly.

And by Alex.

Think Pink!

Polly certainly likes pink! This argyle top looks lovely with a pink and white check skirt.

Such a fab colour combination.

A picture from the 2002 archives - Eve's white sweater and silver chain belt with Tonner's pink check skirt and Kingstate silver boots.

Oh and white tights! They were a fashion statement in the early 70s. We all wore them at school.
